Heritage Trips

Integral to the Charabancs and Cadillacs Project was using our transport services to enable our participants the opportunity to travel outside of Newham environs to visit places of interest with a heritage theme.  We visited more than eight different settings, including memory triggers such as The Museum of Brands, the Milestones living museum, The Cockney Museum, the Epping Ongar Railway and a visit to the Transport Museum.  The group setting of travelling together created discussion points, choosing places to visit, a befriending opportunity, meeting other interested individuals and sharing of memories.  Many participants reported feeling happier and less lonely after their trip out.  Our album provides a look at all the places we travelled to as part of the Charabancs and Cadillacs project.
